Founder of her woman-owned business since 1999, in the Washington DC Metro area Laurie coined EstateMAX, a trademark, in 2013.
As owner/operator, Laurie is involved in all facets of her business.
Laurie has created and developed her core services business out of a passion for helping people improve their lifestyles through optimizing their living environments.
Her training and background in design, with 25 years prior work experience in interior space planning, project management, furnishing and decorative arts sales naturally come into play in problem-solving for her EstateMAX clients.
Laurie is committed to employing the environmental aspects of recycling and conservation of resources in the consumer milieu, as a keystone of the business culture. Re-selling, Re-use, re-vitalizing, re-purposing, re-cycling personal property for her clients.
She is the founder of the former “The Re-Flea”, a flea market created for old and re-purposed goods, held at The Great Frederick County Fairgrounds and founder and operator of The Plantnation of the Frederick Urban Growers, the first land-shared urban garden in the city of Frederick, located at her home in the historic district.
