Our services are all on-site, in the client’s home. We are professional project managers. Instead of just selling your stuff, we organize the project, work with you on your schedule and your personalized requirements.

If you are moving out of your home of many years, we help with all facets, or by the task. Strategizing your plan, organizing your home, packing to move, packing to sell later, packing to store during the house showing. Introducing you to professionals that you might need to complete projects around the house,a realtor to sell the house- and we have a stable of multilevel senior’s housing that we can help you shop and visit. Whatever you need. At our first meeting we review your needs and start a plan and check list, and go from there.

Downsizing Services and Personal Property Sales: Going through the house, one room at a time and sorting, packing ( to move or sell later,) sorting and removing trash. We handle it all for and with you, as needed, and have the professional contacts to help you with all facets of a move: Real estate contacts, stagers, trash removal, shredding services, donation processes, labor, cleaning services etc. Charity items are left for the estate sale, because the small stuff is crucial to a successful sale!

For our professional downsizing and estate sales, we handle the project, not just the sale. We do not cherry-pick and sell on-line. We do the details-the nuts and bolts, the old clothes, the new clothes, the personal care products, the Steinway or the bugle, and the designer furniture, the pantry and the garage, the shed, the stuff under the house and in the rafters, the furniture, the home decor, accessories, precious metals and coins, any vehicles, lawn machinery, farm machinery, tools, appliances, the saddles, the gym, the crystal and the pistols and longarms, ( thru FFL dealer,) if for sale. We put up for sale anything that is not attached to the walls, ceilings, windows or floors of a property. We verify everything with the client before making assumptions.

Photography, Videography, Marketing and Advertising: EstateMAX advertises our estate and downsizing sales, to a pre-qualified estate sale shopping base of over 300,000 regional buyers, through popular social media platforms and industry specific, estate sale websites. Print ads are done for smaller in town sales, throughout our sales territory. A typical estate sale will have 200 to 400 shoppers come through the door.

For estate sales, we typically visit your site after we evaluated your job, thru text photos, to qualify your job. You can send text photos to 301-332-5585 with your name, street name ( street number not needed) and zip code with deadline for your project. If you are asking about a downsizing project please call and leave a message and send a text also.

Organizing and Evaluating for the Sale: We set up, organize, merchandise, price and sell over a 2 to 6 days sale span, based on quality and quantity and type of inventory and other key factors like location, move out scheduling, property settlement. If you have a court appraisal for a property we can use that as a general guide but over our 27 years of experience we have an understanding of “market value” that a tax appraisal does not equal. Ask us how we do it.

Conducting the sale with specialized estate sale signage, liability signage to protect the client from mishaps, full service attendants at the sale to sell, help customers, and deliver items, if needed. We supervise all removals from the property.

Property Clean Out: with or without a personal property sale, we take care of the clean out for clients, to prep the home and property for the client or their realtor, for listing or for settlement.

Client Locations: We work with clients in all zipcodes of Central and Western Maryland, NW Washington DC, Some counties in Northern Virginia, and the Panhandle of WVA, and SW Pennsylvania. EstateMax uses professional practices for all projects: a detailed proprietary agreement tested over years of practice, and we pay our client within 5 to 10 days of the completion of clean out of their job.

EstateMax was one of the best decisions we made when we lost my wife’s beloved twin sister. For those moving into a new home, MissionTransition helps people make sense of “what to do with the stuff”! We can work as a concierge liaison, providing all services needed to assure the client’s specifics are handled. Providing  move-in project management, working with the moving company, the physical unpacking and professional organization of the home, also shopping for items needed, as applicable. We finish up with follow-through after the client has moved in, to tweak the details.
